FAST AND EASY DETAILED HO TURNOUTS
These COMPLETE HO Turnout kits have both PRE-FORMED POINTS (Cast version-not shown)
and a "READY TO GO", CAST METAL FROG, plus of course ALL THE RAIL,
a non-operating SCALE SWITCH STAND, (but with moving indicator), and a set of all the basic details.
NOTE: The RAIL ALIGNING "JIG GROOVES" are ALREADY MOLDED in the plastic.
NO EXPENSIVE JIGS or POINTS or FROGS TOOLS NEEDED!
AVAILABILITY AND OPTIONS:
The Turnouts can be supplied with the standard cast frog as shown in the top row of the picture below, in sizes 6, 7, and 8, with code 70 or 83 rail. Optional "SUPER DETAIL" frogs (planed rail and manganese as shown in the second and third rows respectively) are available in some combinations of the turnout sizes.

Note also, that cast points are not available for code 55 versions. CNC points and an Ultimate Throwbar will be supplied instead. These will require a "craftsman" level modeling skills to modify the turnout base and make up.
"SUPER DETAIL" Frogs for size 6 Turnouts were in development but turned out to be too expensive to manufacture. We are evaluating other methods of increasing the range of HO frogs in 2008

In addition, a SUPER-SUPER-DETAILING KIT, for a SINGLE TURNOUT, comprising bolt ends, joint bars and guard rail clamps is available below, as well as Position Detection switches, and Frog Powering Relays. Many other compatible parts and spares are in the "TURNOUT PARTS" section of the site.
