"88-SAFE" Frogs are chemically milled from solid Nickel Silver to exacting accuracy and close to prototypical realism.

WARRANTED FULLY COMPLIANT WITH ALL NMRA HO STANDARDS, and ALL REGULAR HO RP25 CODE 110 AND CODE 88 WHEELS, the special extra "88 safe" design features prevent the widespread, notorious and otherwise inevitable, "bumping" of RP25, code 88 wheels (aka "semi-scale" wheels) and safely and smoothly prevent them from dropping even partly down into the open frog throat

SUPER-DETAIL KITS for the "88-Safe" frogs, with Precision chemically milled etched bolt head sides are now available for ALL FROG SIZES (#4 thru #10) and ALL FINE SCALE RAIL CODES (55,70 and 83).

HERE WE SEE THE PARTLY FINISHED FROG EDGE ON, ASSEMBLED BY STACKING THE LAYERS, USING THE STANDARD 1/8" ALIGNMENT HOLES, WITH EITHER GLUE OR SOLDER, AFTER BEING CUT OUT FROM ITS FRAME.

THE SUPER_DETAIL SIDES ARE THEN SIMPLY CUT TO FIT WITH SCISSORS AND GLUED IN PLACE

EVEN WHEN HELD UP IN BRIGHT SUNLIGHT, THE FINISHED SUPER-DETAILED FROG CONSTRUCTION AND REALISM IS VIRTUALLY INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM THE PROTOTYPE.

HO INEXPENSIVE CAST PEWTER FROGS

An inexpensive option to obtain a Manganese Style frog, these are available in four frog sizes, #6, #7, #8 and #10. Nominal rail size is code 70/75 or code 83 as shown. These are Rail Bound (RB) Manganese style. The code 70/75 sizes will also operate with code 83 rail if shimmed to match code 83 rail height. Please request shim material if needed.

REGULAR PLANED STYLE (Above) and RB MANGANESE STYLE (Below)

A limited range of Premium "lost-wax" cast White Bronze Frogs. The continuous filled 0.040" wide flangeway fully supports code 88 wheelsets. Suitable for HO Fine, EM and "00 SF" standards. Currently available two styles:

a) Straight bolted rail with planed wing rails
b) Rail bound Manganese

And in a range of nominal rail heights:
Code 55, 70 and 83.

These frogs can be even further improved in appearance by adding our detail packs of cast nut and bolt ends, and finely molded rail joiners.

While fully compliant with NMRA standards, the special extra "88 safe" design features prevent the widespread,notorious and otherwise inevitable, "bumping" of RP25, code 88 wheels (aka "semi-scale" wheels) and safely and smoothly prevent them from dropping even partly down into the open frog throat

PRECISION ,ONE LOAD, GLUE SYRINGE AND NEEDLES
This a small 3 cc plastic, disposable, single Syringe, intended for a single loading with either fluid or gel ACC for model buildiong applications. We have found in practice that a loaded syringe can be used several times over a week or so, with new needles each time, if kept in a domestic refrigerator between uses. Often in that case even the needle would stay unblocked and still be reusable.

The syringe takes separate, replaceable, both fine and extra fine stainless steel blunt needles, for precision gluing of both small and extremely small parts.

Ultimate HO Frog/Rail Bolts Super-Detailing Kit

Solid nickel silver, bolt head and washer "super-detailing" strips specifically for "super-detailing" frogs, that can also be cut up into individual bolt/washer details for use in other places such as guard rails.

Now supplied in both sample single packs and economical six-pack frets, for one rail size. Select the pack to suit the rail size of your choice, from code 55, 70, and 83, to give a much more realistic appearance to any type of model frog. Apply with any metal to metal sticking adhesive, such as ACC, or Pliobond, or can be soldered if desired.

The sections can be easily separated and cut to exact length and position for use, with good quality plain scissors.
