All standard Proto:87 car wheelsets are priced per wheelset (2 wheels mounted on a 2mm dia pin-point axle). Versions on other slightly shorter axles are available at a little higher cost. Plenty of the most common sizes and styles in 1.015" axle lengths are always in stock. We also keep small quantities on hand of the appropriate wheel diameters for HOn3 Narrow Gauge, and various interurbans, trolleys and streetcars.

Proto:87 wheelsets for Diesel and Electric Locomotives are supplied as two wheels on half axles in either "Athearn" type (3/32" half axles) or "Kato" type (1.5mm half Axles).
