FAST AND EASY DETAILED PROTO:87 TURNOUTS
These COMPLETE PROTO:87 Turnout kits have both PRE-FORMED POINTS (Cast version-not shown)
and a Precision Nickel Silver P:87 FROG Kit, plus of course ALL THE RAIL,
a non-operating SCALE SWITCH STAND, (but with moving indicator), and a set of all the basic details.
NOTE: The RAIL ALIGNING "JIG GROOVES" are ALREADY MOLDED in the plastic.
NO EXPENSIVE JIGS or POINTS or FROGS TOOLS NEEDED! We do however strongly advice the use of the Proto:87 Universal track gauge when building code 55 and code 40 versions.
These Turnouts are supplied with the precision milled Proto:87 frog kit as shown in the pictures below.
In addition, a SUPER-SUPER-DETAILING KIT, for a SINGLE TURNOUT, comprising bolt ends, joint bars and guard rail clamps is available below, as well as Position Detection switches, and Frog Powering Relays. Many other compatible parts and spares are in the "TURNOUT PARTS" section of the site.
