Up to to now, most overhead fittings available to the HO modeler have been lost wax castings which are oversize and much closer to "O" scale.
To greatly improve matters in this important area of traction modeling, we have introduced a range of chemically milled fittings that are to exact HO scale.
The HO scale version of the fret, which contains a good quantity of the usual standard hangers plus a multitude of various fittings not previously available in the US, including multi-angle crossings, pull overs, insulators and joiners. In addition there is also an O scale fret is which is similar, but with fewer fittings overall, due to their increased size.
The HO version has holes which are large enough to accommodate Scale and Fine Scale Nickel Silver Wire up 0.3 mm (0.013") diameter. The 0.3 mm NS wire is also available in 30 Ft Coils.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Because they are close to Actual Scale, the Overhead Frogs and Crossings (only) in these sets of fittings are narrower than those specified in the regular NMRA Coarse Standards for O an HO scales Overhead. Therefore trolley poles manufactured only to current NMRA standards will not operate correctly with these frogs, as is, because the pole shoe is too wide to pass through the frog.
It is sometimes possible to bend the frog "sides" outward to enable NMRA Shoes to pass. But we recommend fitting upgraded closer to scale Wheels or Shoes to Model Trolley Poles as below.

The Wheel is only about 6" in diameter. ;
While it is not yet possible to make a trolley wheel to scale with such small open spokes, we do offer a Model Trolley Pole Kit with Near Scale Solid Nickel Silver Working Trolley Wheel and a similar working wheel upgrade Kit for existing poles.
All Fittings, Wire and Pole Kits require good soldering skills to complete.
