Precision Milled, Stainless Steel Spikes
HO Near Scale ( N and Z usable)

These exceptionally accurate and realistic spikes are precision milled from "half-hard" stainless steel sheet to a far more accurate and realistic shape than traditional, way over scale, bent wire spikes. These are supplied in two frets; 250 all tie depth only length for making removable track and 175, pass through, longer than tie depth length, for fixed down track. We also have a special non magnetic solid nickel silver version, that can be scattered along the track for cosmetic effect. All types come in 1 fret and 6-fret pack quantities. And a special mixed type sample pack is available for first time users.

Z EASY RAIL END ALIGNERS
Our own new technology alternative and optionally near scale appearance "rail joiners". They have the major advantage that no cutting away of the ties underneath is required. And they will join rails of different sizes.

Thin Flat Stainless Steel rail end aligners that slide onto the rail web and sit flat on the rail base. Providing the rail ends are well matched and not under significant tension, these much less obtrusive "joiners" will hold the two rail heads in near perfect alignment for smooth reliable running of Wheelsets. They will still however allow for expansion rail end movement.

These rail aligners are designed to be the correct scale length and fit and look well on Z code 55 and code 40 rails. For best closed rail joint appearance, we suggest removing about 1/64" of the rail end base and web from each rail end, with a file or dremel cutting disk, before installation, to accommodate the center cross bar.

Z THROW BAR/POINT HINGE COMBO
Z THROW BAR SETS include prototypically accurate working double throw bars and prototypically accurate working Loose Heel Point Hinges. The sets are specially engineering designed to work reliably and almost indefinitely, without needing stressed soldered joints, added pivot bearings, or maintenance/adjustments.

Z THROW BAR SETS are now offered in Nickel Silver solderable material and come with two undrilled oversize pieces of copper laminate base bar material, a one time drilling jig to accurately position the rod mounting holes and may be customized to be used without drilled holes in the points and for any type of point rail that can be soldered.
